Introduction
After completing my first month in digital marketing, I realized something important , “self-learning can take you far, but guided learning takes you faster “.
That’s when I decided to invest in myself. I enrolled in a paid digital marketing course on Udemy, and honestly, it opened my mind to how deep and structured this field really is.
In this blog, I’ll share what I learned in my second month, how I discovered WordPress, and how I built my own website ( Grow With Anant ) to share my journey, knowledge, and future dreams as a digital marketer.
Week 1 – Taking My First Paid Course
After spending a month learning from free YouTube videos, I wanted to learn something more sytematic or you can say step by step roadmap.
That’s why I took udemy paid Digital Marketing course by Robin and Jesper
Here what’s changed :
- I understood digital marketing as a full system, not random skills.
- I got clarity on how SEO, Google Ads , facebook ads work and i am more curious about how people connect together.
- I learned what is prompt Engineering in depth and how it is work.
- I learned many other thing like SMM , Behaviour of customer and how company strategically tackle the behaviour and changes in the market.
- I learned how professionals plan campaigns and measure results.
My Opinion :
You don’t need fancy , expensive courses to start with. You only need valuable , knowledge rich and money worthy course.
This can give you a good start and change your mindset to develop a new skill.

Week 2 – Discovering WordPress
During my course, I discovered something that completely changed my approach and that is WordPress.
This WordPress thing really grab my attention because you can make your own website without doing any type of coding.
Before this, I thought websites were only for big companies or developers. But when I explored WordPress, I realized how easy it is to create your own space on the internet.
So I take action and start working for my own site called Grow With Anant.
And this was the point where the origin of this site happen and History is the Proof , Big business are also start with the small Idea.
I wanted a place where I could :
- Post my blogs and share my learning journey with people.
- Show what other bloggers don’t share
- I want to show my projects , experiments with Google ads , SEO etc.
- Build a digital portfolio that shows my growth as a marketer.
Tip : Every marketer should have their own website , it’s not just a project; it’s your digital resume.
Week 3 – Creating My First Blog
Once my site was ready, I wrote my first blog post:

It felt unreal to see my work live on my own website.
That moment gave me a vision — this blog isn’t just about writing, it’s about documenting my digital marketing journey, learning publicly, and helping others who are starting like me.
I decided to make a commitment:
- Publish 2 Blogs Every week.
- Share what I learn and what I apply.
- Treat my website like my future portfolio.
Tip : You don’t need to be perfect at everything, You have to take action more than thinking much about it because if you don’ take action today ,other will tomorrow.
Week 4 – Building Vision and Future Goals
By the fourth week, my mindset had shifted from learning skills to building a personal brand.
Here’s what I planned for my next step :
- Write consistent blogs twice a week
- Share digital marketing tips for students
- Show real project experiences (like Google Ads, SEO work)
- Increase my knowledge and learning by taking some more action
- Turn my website into a portfolio + learning hub
Tip : A digital marketer without a personal brand is just another marketer. Your will have to Build your brand early it gives you long-term benefits and values , you don’t even imagine
What I Achieved in My Second Month
- On the way to complete my paid digital marketing course
- learn wordpress and lauch my own site Grow With Anant
- Published my first professional blog as a beginner
- Set a goal to write 2 blogs every week
- Built a clear vision for my own personal brand
My Final Thoughts
My second month wasn’t just about learning , it was about taking more action than thinking much about it.
I realized that knowledge is everywhere, but execution is what makes you different..
